Highest Education Level

• Only diplomas are accepted (certificates of completion, qualification certificates, etc., are not accepted)
• Foreign associate degrees are excluded due to varying education systems and unclear verification of degree attainment.
• Completion of the Art Specialist Program at Korea National University of Arts is recognized as equivalent to a master’s degree.

Domestic

Foreign

• Domestic and foreign experience within the last 10 years can be counted cumulatively; only experience in a field related to one’s major after obtaining the degree is counted.
• Applicants must provide supporting documents to verify relevant experience, excluding internships or other job-seeking experiences.

Domestic Study

(2 years or more / Up to 30 points)

• Domestic degrees earned with less than two years of study due to dual-degree programs with foreign universities or graduation from cyber universities or academic credit banking systems are not recognized.
• However, points for each degree attained are recognized under Basic Items.
• Completion of the Art Specialist Program at Korea National University of Arts is recognized as equivalent to a master’s degree.

TOPIK / Korea Immigration and Integration Program (KIIP)

• Notes
• Certificates for each level of the KIIP, intermediate, and comprehensive evaluations have no expiration.
• KIIP pre-evaluation results are valid for 2 years from the announcement date.
• TOPIK scores are recognized up to the expiration date indicated on the certificate (2 years).

• If the head of a central administrative agency or an overseas diplomatic mission verifies that the applicant is a skilled professional and recommends visa issuance, up to 20 points can be granted based on discretion.
• Global company: Must have been employed for over a year at a company ranked in the Top 500 by Fortune within the last 3 years.
