Requirements

K-Point E-7-4 Checklist

All items must be checked to qualify for an E-7-4 visa.

Have you lived in Korea for 4 years or more on an E-9, E-10, or H-2 visa in the past 10 years?

* (Special Case) Individuals who have resided in non-metropolitan areas for more than three years and have been recommended by a metropolitan local government meet the eligibility criteria.

Are you employed full-time?

Do you have an E-7-4 employment contract with an annual salary of 26 million KRW or more and a contract duration of at least 2 years? (For agriculture, livestock, fisheries, and coastal shipping, a minimum salary of 25 million KRW applies.)

Have you been recommended by a company where you have worked for at least one year?

Is your average income at least 25 million KRW?

Do you have TOPIK Level 2 or KIIP Level 2 or higher?

* (Special Case) If the applicant meets the score requirement excluding the Korean language component (with a total score of 150 or higher), a temporary deferment is granted on the condition that they improve their Korean language proficiency by the first extension (2 years). This policy is effective until December 31, 2026.

Exclusion Criteria

Applicants with fines of 1 million KRW or more
Applicants with unpaid taxes (application possible once taxes are fully paid)
Applicants who violated the Immigration Control Act 4 or more times
Applicants with a history of illegal stay
Applicants deemed likely to harm the national interest or public safety of Korea
Applicants likely to disrupt economic or social order, or engage in behavior contrary to good morals
